The Applications and Business Capability Overlap view is a dataset that shows which applications support the same business capabilities. Here's how to interpret the information:
- The Application column and the Similar Application column show the applications whose business capabilities are being compared.
- The Overlap Count column displays the total number of business capabilities that the two applications support. The Overlap % columns shows the percentage of business capabilities that the two applications have in common.
- Click a linked number in the Overlap % column to open a matrix report showing all business capabilities that both applications support as well as which business capabilities each application exclusively supports. Business capabilities are colored based on the Business Relevance attribute. Dark purple indicates the business capability is Mission Critical and therefore is crucial to the organization's business and essential to the accomplishment of the vision, goals and objectives. Light purple indicates it is Business Evolving and responds to internal and external change to support the necessary steps to transition the organization's business.
