What is the component support for an IT capability?

Components are assigned to IT capabilities that provide basic capabilities like infrastructure services. Review the component support for a business capability based on the IT capability the components are assigned.

  1. Go to the business question Where do we have technology risk?
  2. Click the Filter local filter button and select an IT capability to focus on in the IT Capability field.
  3. Click Update and click X to close the filter panel. The visualization will be updated to show only the components that provide support to the IT capability.
  4. Review the matrix cells displaying already out of support and within 6 months to understand which IT capabilities are no longer adequately supporting a business capability.
