What are my most expensive business capabilities?

Understanding which business capabilities are most expensive can help you to understand where applications may potentially be consolidated and where the project portfolio can be optimized. The business capabilities are sized based on the aggregated current year cost for the applications and projects associated with the business capability or any of its subordinate business capabilities. The costs are equally distributed across all provided business capabilities. Look for business capabilities that have high costs (large box) and reduced business relevance (green boxes) to determine whether costs can be cut.

  1. Click the caption What are my cost drivers? to drill down to the business question and click the  Filter local filter button.
  2. Select CapEx & OpEx in the Aggregate Costs By field.
  3. Click Update and click X to close the filter panel.
