Provide help to end users

You can provide help for a view in the user interface. The help can be accessed via the Help button in the masthead of the application or the three-dot menu for a view embedded in a content area.

The standard help available with Alfabet consists of a browser-based online help and a context-sensitive help which answers common questions in an FAQ-like style in a help panel embedded in the user interface. A full-text search for the browser-based online help can also be implemented.

For customers installing Alfabet on premise, the files required to implement context-sensitive help and full text search are delivered with the release. The ZIP file containing the help data also contains a short description of the required steps for installation. If you follow the short description for implementation of all help parts, you do not need to read the descriptions in this section describing the help implementation steps separately.
