Define the content repository of the content area

The content of the content repository contains all items assigned to the content area. In addition, you can define content in the class settings that will be available to the user in all content areas of an object class. The additional content of the content repository for class independent content areas is defined in the class settings for the object class ALFA_GLOBAL_CLASS_SETTINGS.

A copy of the private class settings is available for ALFA_GLOBAL_CLASS_SETTINGS or the class settings of the object class. Private class settings are not editable. To change the default settings, you need to create a new class setting for your user profile as copy of a private class setting.

  1. Go to the Presentation tab in Alfabet Expand.
  2. Expand the Class Settings node in the explorer and expand the folder of the relevant object class. For class independent content areas, this is the ALFA_GLOBAL_CLASS_SETTINGS object class.
  3. Expand the node of the class settings you want to edit.
  4. Right-click the System Content Repository node and select one of the following options:
    •  Add Graphic View Item to add a standard view.
    • Add Report Item to add a configured report.
    • Add Data Workbench Item to add a data workbench.
