Adapt the user interface to your demands

When users access the Alfabet user interface, they are always assigned a user profile the content displayed to the user and the access permissions are determined by the user profile the user logs in with. User profiles are defined independent of the user data. Multiple users doing similar work can access Alfabet with the same user profile. The user profile is then assigned to the user by an administrative user on the Alfabet user interface.

The user profile configuration includes the following parts:

SymbolForViewConfig Definition of the views which the user will have access to.

SymbolForClassModelConfig Definition of the data the user will be able to see in views. This includes edit rights for data and filter and button availability.

SymbolForProfileConfig Combination of all parts of the configurations in the user profile including definition of the left-hand navigation panel.

SymbolForStyleConfig Definition of the colors used in the Alfabet user interface.

The color assigned in the list above is used in the graphic below to display which part of the user interface you are configuring in which part of the configuration: OverviewInterfaceConfiguration
