Add and change icons
You can upload own icons in PNG or SVG format to the Alfabet configuration and use them in configurations. This includes for example icons in the left navigation panel, icons for buttons, and icons used for object classes. Whenever a configuration uses images which you first to upload, this is mentioned in the configuration and you are linked to this description.
Icons are uploaded to icon gallery. The icon gallery is structured by file type and size. Standard icons for object classes, buttons and explorers in Alfabet are part of the 22x22 pixel PNG icon gallery. This is the recommended file size for icons used in Alfabet to substitute the standard icons. You can alternatively provide your icons in SVG format.
In addition, you can define groups of icons already uploaded to the icon gallery. These groups are a prerequisite for visualization of indicators. They consist of icons for all possible values of an indicator. When you define the indicator visualization on the Alfabet user interface, you can select an icon gallery group and define the range of indicator values each icon in the group shall represent for this indicator.
