Define two-factor authentication for the SCIM application
When you open the Alfabet SCIM application for the first time, you can log in with the user name and password defined in the configuration file. After login, you need to set up two-factor authentication for that user.
You should delete the value for the user name and password fields from the configuration file after first login.
To define two-factor authentication, you need an authenticator app like Microsoft Authenticator® on your phone.
- In the Alfabet SCIM application, click on your login email in the upper right of the user interface.
- Select Two-factor authentication from the left side navigation.
- In the authenticator app on your phone, create a work account, scan the QR code that is displayed in the Alfabet SCIM application and follow the process to finish setting up of the account in the authenticator app.
Two-factor authentication for the Alfabet SCIM application is based on the MFA code visible in the authenticator app for the Alfabet SCIM application account.
In addition to setting up two-factor authentication, the administrator should also change the user password after first login.
