Test performance

A tool for testing the performance of the connection between the Alfabet database, and the Alfabet components is currently available as beta version. The Alfabet Performance Evaluation application is not part of the standard Alfabet release delivery. Files are delivered on request to Alfabet Support.

During performance test, a test table is generated in the database and the performance is measured as time required to perform the following actions:

• Creation of the test table.
• Insertion of 1,000 records in 1,000 transactions.
• Insertion of 1,000 records in one transaction.
• Return of 100 records.
• Return of 1, 000 records.
• Deletion of 1,0I00 records from the test table.

After the test, the test table is dropped.

The test distinguishes between browser connection and database connection performance.

You can export test results to PNG and to JSON. You can compare the current test results with previous test results and test results stored in JSON format.
