Define user profile assignment on basis of groups

Optionally you can define that Alfabet user profiles are automatically assigned to Alfabet users during update of the user data via the identity provider. Users in a specific identity provider group will all get the same use profile assigned. Only one user profile can be automatically assigned. You must activate this feature via mapping of the identity provider groups to the Alfabet user profiles.

1. In the SCIM application, go to System Management.
2. Click the Edit Group Names button.
3. For each identity provider group you would like to define user profile assignment for, click the + sign in the upper right of the editor window, type the group name as specified at the identity provider in the new line of the table, and click Save on the right of the new line.
4. Click anywhere outside the editor window to close it.
5. Click the Edit Alfabet Profile Names button.
6. For each Alfabet user profile that shall be automatically assigned, click the + sign in the upper right of the editor window, type the value for the Name attribute of the user profile in the new line of the table, and click Save on the right of the new line.

7. Click anywhere outside the editor window to close it.
8. Click the Edit Group to Alfabet Profile Mapping button.

   If you do not see all specified groups in the editor, refresh the page in the browser and click the button again.

9. To activate user profile assignment for one of the groups, select the user profile in the drop-down list of the Alfa Profile field for the group and select the checkbox of the Enabled field.
