Change the time schedule to execute a job

Processes to maintain Alfabet are predefined by Software GmbH. They are run daily between midnight and 3 a.m. server time. You can change the time schedule.

  1. Go to Administration > Job Schedule.
  2. Select the job schedule in the table and click Edit.
  3. Make sure that the Indirectly Triggered checkmark is not selected. Indirectly triggered jobs are executed automatically by another job.

The settings of indirectly triggered job schedules must not be changed.

  4. If the job is not indirectly triggered, go to the Schedule tab and change the schedule:
    • Change the start time of the job. Select a new time in the Start Time field.
    • Change the recurrence pattern. Select how often the job shall be executed in the Recurrence Pattern section. Select one of the following:
      • Hourly: The interval between job executions is the time selected in the field of every.
      • Daily: The interval between job executions is the number of days specified in the field day(s) as an integer.
      • Weekly: The interval between job executions is the number of weeks specified in the field week(s) on as an integer. In addition, select the checkbox of the day of the week that the job shall be executed on.
      •  Monthly: There are two methods to select from. If you select the checkbox Date-Based, define a day of the month in the day field behind the checkbox. For example if you want the job to be executed on the fifteenth of each month, enter 15. If you select the checkbox Weekday-Based, you can schedule the job for a specific day of a specific week in the month. In the first field behind the checkbox, select the week of the month the job shall be executed. In the second field behind the checkbox, select the day of the week the job shall be executed. The interval between job executions is the number of weeks specified in the field month(s) of the selected scheduling method.
      • Once: The job is only executed one single time.
    • Change the overall number of execution times. If End after is checked in the Range of Recurrence section, job execution is limited to the number defined in the Occurences field. If End on is checked in the Range of Recurrence section, job execution ends on a specified date that is defined in the field below the Occurences field.
