What information is available to the Application Manager
The Application Manager user profile bundles the functionality you need as a data steward to add applications to the repository and capture the basic information about them. Click Home in the left navigation panel to see the following views:

            Applications by Lifecycle: The pie chart displays the number of applications according to their lifecycle phases. Double-click a pie slice to view a data workbench showing all applications with that lifecycle phase. Use the features of the data workbench to slice-and-dice your data to focus on data and do the analyses you are interested in.. The following lifecycle phases may be displayed: 
- Plan: The application has been identified and evaluated for possible use in company.
 - Implementation: Activities are underway to prepare the application for production.
 - Production: The application is being used in company.
 - Sunset: The application is still available but is not intended to be used for daily work.
 - Read-Only: The application is no longer used but is available for reasons of documentation and compliance.
 - Retired: The application should no longer be used.

            Applications by Status: The pie chart displays applications based on their status. This is an approval status and typically indicates the level of quality of the information about the application. The release status determines whether an application can or cannot be deleted. Possible values are: 
- Draft: The application has only mandatory data defined.
 - Under Review: The application is documented and being reviewed. An application with this release status cannot be deleted.
 - Approved: The application has been approved by the responsible stakeholders. An application cannot be deleted when it has an approved release status. An application with this release status cannot be deleted.
 - Data imported: The data regarding this application has been imported from an external system. Additional changes may be required to improve the data quality. An application with this release status can be deleted.
 - Trash: The application is no longer valid and can be deleted.
 
 - Application Completeness: The pie chart displays the quality of the data of the applications in the repository. Double-click the Issues pie slice to open a view listing existing data quality issues. Click the link in the Resolution column to navigate to the view where the issue can be immediately corrected.
 - My Applications: View applications that you have access permissions to and add new applications to the repository.
 
The left navigation panel displays the following:
- Recent Assets: Access the data that you have most recently touched.
 - Workflows: Access workflow activities that you are responsible for.
 - Data Quality: View My Data Quality Issues to understand the data quality issues for the assets that you have responsibility for. Click Data Collection Initiative to collect portfolio data.
 - Favorites: Access your bookmarked data and views.
 - My Applications: This is the same applications data workbench that is available in the Home area where you can create applications and specify an applications details.
 - Business Architecture: View reference data including business capabilities , business processes , locations , organizations , and vendors.
 - Application Architecture: Use the data workbenches to create and define applications , create and define peripheral data , and create and define application groups.
 - Technology Architecture: View reference data including IT capabilities , components, component groups, and component categories.
