What trends are evident in our rationalization activity?

Use trend analysis to understand the impact of planned rationalization activities. Change the timespan of the data to analyze the changes to the application landscape and application costs over time to guide decisions about what to keep, improve, or eliminate. The timespan can be adjusted to show from 6 months - 5 years in the past as well as 6 months - 5 years in the future. The default timespan is 6 months in the past and 6 months in the future.

  1. Go to the business question What is the status of our rationalization plan? and click the  Filter local filter button.
  2. Set the Timespan in Past field to specify how far in the past the report should begin.
  3. Set the Timespan in Future field to specify how far in the future the report should begin.
  4. Click Update.
