What are the current application costs for a business capability?
Understanding a business capability's current application costs will help you identify rationalization candidates to reduce costs as well as know which applications it makes sense to invest in. The business capabilities are sized based on the aggregated current year costs for the applications associated with the business capability or any of its subordinate business capabilities. The costs are equally distributed across all provided business capabilities.
- Click the caption What are my cost drivers? to drill down to the business question and click the  
 local filter button. - Select OpEx in the Aggregate Costs By field.
 - Select Active in the the Object State field.
 - Click Update and click X to close the filter panel. The largest boxes are the business capabilities with the most expensive applications.
 
 - To find out more about application costs, double-click the business capability and go to Overview > Providing Applications to understand which applications are associated with the business capability.
 - Double-click an application in the Providing Applications and go to the Overview > Operational Expenses to understand and edit the application's costs.
