- Go to the business question What is our technology usage? > Technology Usage by Business Capability. The doughnut chart shows the percentage of aggregated components that enable each business capability and its subordinate business capabilities. The first level business capabilities are displayed per default.
- Click the
local filter button and specify the Business Capability Hierarchy Level field to analyze technology usage on a different level in the business capability hierarchy.
- Change the Object State filter to change the component data:
- Select Active to understand all active components currently enabling business capabilities.
- Select Plan to understand which components will enable business capabilties in the future.
- Select Retired to understand which components are no longer supporting business capabilities. These business capabilities may potentially be at risk if they do not have adequate support.
- Click a doughnut slice in the doughnut chart to open a data workbench showing the relevant components. Take advantage of all of the functionalities of the data workbench to slice and dice the data. For each component, navigate to its content area to review the component.
