Define the toolbar of the content areas
The toolbar of content areas consists of three types of buttons:
- Buttons for managing the content in the content area are by default available in all content area toolbars. You can exclude some of them in general for the content area in the attributes of the content area or for the content area in a subset of user profiles in the content area modifications of the class settings.
- Generic operations which are defined under the object class are automatically added to the toolbar of class-based content areas. You can exclude them from the toolbar, move them to the three-dots menu or enforce display directly in the toolbar, and change their appearance. For buttons opening an editor or selector you can also decide to open a different editor or selector.
- You can define additional buttons for content areas directly in the content area. You should restrict button generation to buttons for class-independent content areas and define the buttons for class-based content areas under generic operations to ensure a consistent editing behavior for the object class.
