Change the look of diagram items and shapes
Various options are available that allow you to change the visual style of your diagram.
- Add color to a diagram item with color. Select the diagram item, click the Fill Color button and choose a color from the palette. Click Outline Color button to specify the border of the diagram item.
- Change the line weight of borders and lines. Select a diagram item, information flow, or shape and click the Line Weight button and change either the weight of the border or line and define whether the borders and lines should be solid, dashed, or dotted.
- Move a shape forward or backward. Select the shape you want to move and click the Reorder button and select Bring to Front or Send to Back.
- Specify rounded or shadowed borders. Select the diagram item or shape you want to change and click the Appearance button and select Shadow or Rounded Border.
- Align the diagram items and shapes. Press the CTRL key and select the diagram items and shapes that shall be aligned. Click the Align button to align the edges and select an alignment option. Or select the Match Size of Items button to align the widths of the selected items.
- Rotate shapes. Select the shape you want to rotate and select Other Actions > Rotate Box.
