Complete your data collection tasks

Alfabet provides a Data Collection Initiative functionality that allows your company to collect specific data for applications, information flows, components, and physical and virtual servers that are already in the repository. A data quality initiative is configured by an admininstrative user with the Portfolio Admin user profile.

If you are required to provide data for a data collection initiative, you will receive a message via the Notifications   button.

To access the data collection initiative, go to the left navigation panel > Data Quality > Data Collection Initiative. The assets that you are responsible for will be displayed in the data workbench. As soon as the required data is provided for an asset, it will be removed from the data workbench. In this way, you will only see the assets that you need to process.
