Manage user profiles
The User Profiles view is available only to administrative users with the base package IT Transformation Server - Enterprise.
You can edit existing use profiles and change the user profile's read-write permissions, whether it is available for anonymous user login, or has administrative rights. Go to Account Management > User Profiles. Select a user profile and click the
edit button and fill in the fields:
- Name: A caption for the user profile. This is the name of the user profile that users will see when logging in to Alfabet.
- Type: Specify if the user profile should have Read/Write permissions on Read Only permissions.
- View Scheme: Select the view scheme that applies to the user profile when accessed by an external application or via a hyperlink in an email notification. The view scheme must first be configured in the configuration tool Alfabet Expand by your solution designer.
- Description: Provide information about the user profile.
- User for Anonymous Users: Activate if the user profile should be used as the user profile that is used for anonymous users. You should only select the checkbox if you have defined the value Read Only for the Type attribute.
- Is Administrative User: Activate if the user profile is for superusers who are responsible to complete administrative tasks. These users will have exclusive access to views that are required for user and account management, data import, administrative jobs, and configuration and have read/write permissions to all data in the repository regardless of object authorization.
- Workflow Activities Explorer: Specify the custom explorer to display instead of the default workflow activities explorer in the Workflows node of the navigation panel.
- External ID: The external identification number used to synchronize with an external source.
