Define a data-triggered action group
Data-triggered action groups structure your data-triggered actions. You can create data-triggered actions under a data-triggered action group only. A data-triggered action can be part of multiple data-triggered action groups.
If you add a data-triggered action to multiple data-triggered action groups and you change it in one group it is changed in all groups. Open the content area of the data-triggered action to view whether it is assigned to one or multiple groups.
Data-triggered action groups can be hierarchically structured.
To create or edit data-triggered action groups, go to Configuration > Data-Triggered Actions > Data-Triggered Action Groups.
Create a data-triggered action group: To create a data-triggered action group on the upper level of the hierarchy, click the root node of the explorer and click the + New button. To create a sub-group, click the parent group in the explorer, click Subordinate Datat-Triggered Action Groups and click +New > Create New Data-Action Group. Define a unique technical name, a caption, and optionally a description for the new data-triggered action group.
Move a data-triggered action group in the hierarchy: To move a data-triggered action group under a parent data-triggered action group, click the intended parent group in the explorer, click Subordinate Data-Triggered Action Groups, click Move Existing Data Action Group and select a data-triggered action group to move it to the current group. To move a sub-ordinate data-triggered action group to the root level of the explorer, click the current parent group in the explorer, click Subordinate Data-Triggered Action Groups, select the data-triggered action group in the table and click the Detach option of the three-dots menu.
