Configure measure types
Measure types are relevant for users working with the Strategic Portfolio Management license.
Users can rate the achievement of strategic themes in the context of the company's strategy. The target values are based on measure types that can be configured by an administrative user. Measure types consist of a name that describes the measure and a unit that shall be measured. For example, a measure type "Improve engagement from 30% to 60%" may be assessed as a %, whereas a measure type "Increase Net Promoter Score from 35 to 60" may be assessed as a number. Users can add the configured measure types to the Objectives and Key Results view in the content area of a strategic theme. They can also create ad-hoc measure types themselves in the view The rated and targeted values can be evaluated for the measure types for relevant time periods in the Performance Measures view.
You can create one or more measure type categories in order to bundle measure types. The measure type categories can be structured in a hierarchy with subordinate measure type categories. Each measure type category must have one parent measure type and may have multiple subordinate measure types. By bundling a set of measure types in a measure type category, a user responsible for a measure type category can specify a rated measure for all measure types assigned to the measure type category for the active time series period. The values can be edited, as needed.
