Which business capabilities are at risk due to failure in application support?

Look for obsolete applications providing support to critical business capabilities.

  1. Go to the business question What is our application landscape? and click the  Filter local filter button.
  2. Select Application EoL in the Show Application KPI field.
  3. Next select Technical Obsolescence in the Color Rule field to identify which business capabilities are at risk due to applications that use a component that has reached the end of its planned lifecycle.
  4. Click Update and click X to close the filter panel.
  5. Click the ThreeDots_Black 3-dots button > Show Legend to understand the color coding.
  6. To understand the components that an application uses, double-click an application to go to the application's content area > Technology Context > Component Lifecycles.
  7. Review the components that have an end date before the application's end date and consider whether to update the components or replace the unsupported application .
