Which business capabilities are at risk due to failure in application support?
Look for obsolete applications providing support to critical business capabilities.
- Go to the business question What is our application landscape? and click the local filter button.
- Select Application EoL in the Show Application KPI field.
- Next select Technical Obsolescence in the Color Rule field to identify which business capabilities are at risk due to applications that use a component that has reached the end of its planned lifecycle.
- Click Update and click X to close the filter panel.
- Click the 3-dots button > Show Legend to understand the color coding.
- To understand the components that an application uses, double-click an application to go to the application's content area > Technology Context > Component Lifecycles.
- Review the components that have an end date before the application's end date and consider whether to update the components or replace the unsupported application .
