Class mapping
Multiple CI Classes are mapped to an Alfabet object class. The staging repository imports the data into stereotypes matching the Alfabet object class structure.
The object classes Application, Component, and Location are directly visible in the user interface of pre-configured Alfabet solutions. The object class Device has two stereotypes: Physical Server and Virtual Server. The user triggering the import of the data to Alfabet can select whether the current import of devices should be mapped to the physical server stereotype or the virtual server stereotype.
