What information is displayed in What should we be focusing on?

The Business Capabilities and Application Support view is a nested matrix that shows the business capability model with information about the number of current and planned applications that provide the business capabilities and the criticality of the business capabilities for the business. Here's how to interpret the information:

Each business capability is represented by a nested box in the matrix.
Per default, the top 2 levels of business capabilities in the business capability hierarchy are displayed.
Each second-level business capability displays the aggregated number of as-is applications currently supporting it and to-be applications planned to support it. The number is an aggregation of all applications that provide support to the second-level business capability and its subordinate business capabilities. Retired applications are not considered in the as-is and to-be application counts.
- As-is applications: An application is counted if the Object State attribute = Active and the current date is between the application's start and end date.
- To-be applications: An application is counted if the Object State attribute = Plan and either the application's start date is in the future, or the application is a strategic application and is recommended for future consideration. ( Strategic Application = Yes and Recommendation = Invest, Tolerate, or Migrate)
Business capabilities are colored based on the Business Relevance attribute. The most critical business capabilities are shades of purple. The less critical business capabilities are shades of green.
Business capabilities may show the following symbols:
- A warning symbol indicates that more to-be applications are planned than as-is applications for non-critical business areas. R
- An issue symbol is displayed if more to-be applications are planned than as-is applications for a critical business capability.
