The business question What is our AI portfolio? offers a comprehensive analysis of the IT architecture supporting artificial intelligence capabilities in your enterprise and how the business may be impacted by AI. Stay up-to-date on which AI features are provided by your applications and which AI technologies and models your components provide. Understand which use cases the AI features support as well as the AI models and technologies that are used.
This business question helps you to understand the overall level of risk of AI features to the enterprise as well as the approval status of your AI uses cases and AI architecture. Up-to-date reports provide a single source of truth about the applications and components providing AI in your enterprise, the AI use cases that are supported, the AI features included in those use cases, the AI models and AI technologies used, and the business capabilities that are affected by the AI architecture. Review the impact of the AI portfolio on the business to understand which mission-critical business capabilities are most impacted.
The license package Enterprise Portfolio Management is required to work with this business question. The use case AI Portfolio Management must be activated.
Use the method that is most convenient for you:
- In the left navigation panel, enter What is our AI portfolio? in the Search Navigation field.
- In the left navigation panel, click Home. In the content area, go to the Business Questions page and click the tile for What is our AI portfolio?
- In the left navigation panel, expand the sections Business Questions and Transparency and click What is our AI portfolio?
This business question shows the following information:
- Overview tab: The bar chart displays the risk levels of the features. Portfolio charts the approval status of the various aspects of the AI portfolio. The AI-Enabled Applications data workbench shows all applications that have AI features or unassessed applications created in the context of the business question What is our AI portfolio?. The AI-Enabled Components data workbench also shows components which have AI features.

Architecture View tab: The AI Architecture Impacts report shows the connections between AI use cases, AI features, AI models, AI technologies, business capabilities, and applications. Click the
local filter button and select the relevant AI asset to focus on and understand its relationship to other AI assets in the architecture.

Business Impact tab: The Business Capabilities Supported by AI report shows a nested matrix show the top three levels of business capabilities in the hierarchy. The business capabilities are colored based on the whether they have AI use cases associated with the applications that support the business capability. Click the
local filter button to specify an indicator to show on the business capabilities.
