Add new assets and edit existing data

You will see all assets relevant for the data workbench and be able to edit the ones that you have permissions for based on your status as an authorized user or a member of an authorized user group. A lock  Lock symbol is displayed for assets that you do not have write permissions for.

Edit a single asset directly in the data table.

EditDataInTable

Edit multiple data at once in the data table.

You can do a bulk update and set the same value for multiple objects at the same time.

Select the checkboxes DWB_Checkbox for the objects you want to edit. Change the value in the cell of one of the object you have selected. A bulk update editor displaying all of the selected objects will open with the valued changed for all objects. Review the changed value for all objects.

You can change a value in any other columns in the bulk update editor but this will change the value for all objects. Click OK to apply your changes and close the editor. The data is still selected in the data table. Clear the checkboxes  DWB_Checkbox for each row.

EditMultipleData

If you set values by means of the bulk update, the new value will overwrite all existing values. For example, if one object had three stakeholders and you select a single stakeholder using the bulk update functionality, all previously defined stakeholders will be removed and only the new stakeholder will be assigned to the object.
