A notification provides information about the outcome of the process execution as well as a link to log files or other relevant files for the process.

Notifications are displayed when:

• The asynchronous export of data via data capture templates and import of data to the database has finished. These notifications are displayed to the user who has triggered the asynchronous import/export process.
• Jobs scheduled for application maintenance by Software GmbH are scheduled by a maintenance user during the test phase. No notifications will be sent to you or any of your colleagues about the execution of such jobs because they are of the notification types ADIF and Job Schedule 

The notification icon  in the upper right corner of the header shows a red dot when new notifications are available.

Click on the notification icon  to open the notification panel. You will see all unread notifications in the tab All. To view only notifications for a single activity, switch to the tab with the name of the activity type. Notifications of the type ADIF and Job Schedule provide information about the jobs triggered by Software GmbH for application maintenance.

To view all notifications including unread notifications that do not fit in the notification panel and notifications that have been read, click the View All link on the bottom of the notifications panel to open the Notifications Center.

Notifications provide access to log files and exported data capture templates:

• Download data capture templates

  Click the Download Excel file link at the bottom of the notification.

• Access Log files

  Click the Download log file link at the bottom of the notification.

• Mark notifications as read

  The red dot on the notification icon will disappear when a checkmark has been set for each notification indicating that it has been read. Notifications with a checkmark will only be displayed in the notification window during the current session.

  Click the circle that is visible on the right when hovering over a notification to set a checkmark that the notification has been read.

   

  Alternatively, click the Mark all as read button to checkmark all notifications.

• View notifications from previous sessions

  Click the View All link at the bottom of the notification window to open the Notification Center.

  To download a log file or a data capture template from one or multiple notifications, checkmark the notification and click the Download Files link.
