The following enhancements to the Alfabet platform are available with this release.

Enhanced visual consistency for indicators

Indicator text colors configured in the Widget tab of the Indicator editor are now applied consistently. In addition to indicator cards, these color settings are also displayed in property groups and in data workbenches.

This enhancement provides a more consistent user experience and improves the visual recognition of colored indicators throughout the user interface.

Better usability to administrate Alfabet links

The usability of the Alfabet Link Administration view (formerly Web Message and Link Administration (Admin_AlfaWebMessages)), introduced in version 11.13.0, has been enhanced. The title of the view has been updated to reflect its purpose more clearly, and captions as well as link type descriptions have been revised to make the functionality easier to understand for users who are not familiar with the technical terminology. In addition, filter captions have been aligned with the corresponding table column headings, providing a more consistent and intuitive user experience.

Enhanced security for administrative data workbenches

A new Restrict to Administrative User Profiles attribute has been added to data workbenches. When this attribute is set to True , the data workbench is available only for user profiles where the Is Administrative User Profile attribute is also set to True.

This enhancement provides an additional layer of security for data workbenches that grant write access to sensitive information, such as user data. It helps prevent unintended data exposure caused by configuration errors by ensuring that non-administrative users cannot access these workbenches.

If a non-administrative user attempts to open a restricted data workbench, the workbench is not displayed. Instead, the user receives a message indicating that access is restricted to administrators.

Mandatory risk management group assignment

The Group object class property of the RiskObject object class is now a mandatory property. This enhancement ensures that every risk object is assigned to a risk management group during creation and maintenance, helping to enforce valid risk assessment and ensure data consistency in risk management.

Consistent edit search in custom editors

The Edit Search field in custom editors has been enhanced to fully respect all class setting overrides for object class properties introduced in Alfabet 11.x releases.

For reference and reference array properties that support multiple target classes, the search behavior has also been improved. Search limits are now applied separately to each permitted target object class, ensuring that matching objects from all eligible classes are included in the results.

These improvements provide more accurate and comprehensive search results while delivering a more consistent and predictable user experience across edit search fields throughout the application.

Enhancements to the Alfabet MCP Server

Enhanced dynamic client registration. The dynamic OAth authentication between the Alfabet MCP Server and AI services has been revised to include AI service platforms requiring OAuth specific-configuration on server side. This change ensures that the Alfabet MCP Server securely connects to any current AI service. This change requires that for any connection between the Alfabet MCP Server and an AI client, an additional configuration is done at the Alfabet API Server.

Complete documentation of provided services and installation. The installation and setup as well as the services provided by the Alfabet MCP Server have been added to the Alfabet online help. This includes the configuration changes required for use of the Alfabet MCP Server in Alfabet 11.13.1 releases. These are marked as changed in the documentation.

Alfabet SCIM application delivery de-coupled

The delivery of the Alfabet SCIM application has been decoupled from the core Alfabet release cycle. This enables updates and enhancements to the Alfabet SCIM application to be made available immediately to customers, regardless of the release version they are using. The Alfabet SCIM application is now delivered as a separate download on the download page, allowing customers to benefit from the latest identity provisioning capabilities without requiring an upgrade of the core platform. The current version of the Alfabet SCIM application is 2.1.
