Data requirements
Applications must be in the repository and well-documented.
- Go to the Data Quality page and resolve all issues to ensure that your data source is reliable and that you will have meaningful results for this business question. These issues should be resolved to generate accurate lifecycle information for the applications. Click to understand more about improving your data quality.
- Go to the Data Source page and review the applications used to generate the results for the business question. For each application, review the accuracy of the data displayed and make changes as needed. For each application, specify the successor application in the Successor column. Mature organizations may have a lifecycle planning practice and capture the phases of a lifecycle. Double-click the application and go to Overview > Application Lifecycle and specify the application's lifecycle. Application lifecycle phases may include: Plan, Pilot, Production, Sunset, Retired.
