Define a report category for the generic API integration interface

The ADIF import and export schemes read data from configured reports. You must create a use case category and assign it to the configured reports to mark them as applicable for generic API integration.

Use case catetories are defined in Alfabet Expand.

  1. Go to the Presentation tab and expand the XML Objects node.
  2. Double-click the XML object UseCaseCategories and, if not yet specified, add a new XML element UseCaseInfo to the XML root element UseCaseCategories with the following settings:
    • <UseCaseInfo UseCase="GenericOASIntegration">
      • <ScopeInfo Scope="Report" Categories="CategoryName" />
    • </UseCaseInfo>

    The category name can be any string. Once defined, it can be selected in the drop-down list of the Category attribute of configured reports.

  3. Click the Save  Save_Expand button in the toolbar.
