Which organizations own critical business capabilities?

Understand which organizations own applications that support critical business capabilities. The business owner organization is responsible for managing the functional requirements of the application.

  1. Go to the business question What should we be focusing on? and click the  Filter local filter button.
  2. Specify the organization owning the applications in the Business Owner field.
  3. Click Update and click X to close the filter panel. Only business capabilities supported by applications owned by the business owner are displayed.
    • Business capabilities are colored based on the Business Relevance attribute. The most critical business capabilities are shades of purple. The less critical business capabilities are shades of green.
    • Each second-level business capability shows the number of as-is and to-be applications where the Business Owner role is the specified organization.
    • The number is an aggregation of all applications that provide support to the second-level business capability as well as its subordinate business capabilities on lower levels of the business capability model.
  4. Double click the As-Is Applications or To-Be Applications element to view the applications owned by the business owner organization.
