The business questions in the Transparency section of the navigation panel provide up-to-date information about the as-is landscape and architectural dependencies. Turn to these business questions to:

• Explore a comprehensive overview of the application portfolio in order to identify where redundancies exist in applications and their technologies and how this impacts the business. This business question provides immediate up-to-date insights for decision-making.
• Understand the dependencies that applications have to the technologies that support them and mitigate risk to the business due to end-of-life technologies. Ensure a safe and consistent transition of the application landscape as technology support changes.
• Identify the data dependencies between applications and know which business data may be at potentially at risk if applications are migrated.
• Know which vendors support mission-critical business capabilities and where you have technologies that no longer have vendor support.
• Ensure that your business processes are healthy by knowing where application support is missing for critical business processes. Examine whether redundant applications can be rationalized in order to reduce complexity and lower costs.
