Copy server aliases to another directory
Alias configurations are exclusively configured via the Alfabet Administrator. It is recommended that you create and maintain all alias configurations in the AlfabetMS.xml file located in the directory of the Alfabet Administrator, even if your installation is distributed to a multiple working directories or hosts. The Distribute functionality of the Alfabet Administrator can be used to create new alfabetMS.xml files containing all or a subset of the server alias configurations in the alfabetMS.xml file of the Alfabet Administrator.
- Expand the Alfabet Aliases node in the Administrator explorer. The right pane displays a list of all available alias configurations with a toolbar on top.
- In the list, select all alias configurations that you want to include in the new alfabetMS.xml file. You can use hold and click to select multiple alias configurations.
- In the toolbar, select Tools > Distribute....
- In the dialog box that opens, choose a destination folder for the new alfabetMS.xml file. The file name or folder must differ from the name and location of the alfabetMS.xml file of the Alfabet Administrator.
- Click Save to save the file.
