Adjust the currency information. The currency is used to capture the costs in your IT portfolio. You can change the currency name, currency code, and currency symbol currently specified.
The currency symbol should be set before you import costs for objects. The currency symbol cannot be changed for costs that have already been imported. If you change the currency symbol at a later stage, all costs entered or imported before the change will continue to use the old symbol.
- Go to Configuration > Cost Management > Currencies.
- Click the
button and specify the following fields: - Currency Name: Enter a name for the currency. When a user defines a card visualization for a data workbench or an indicator card, the currency name is displayed in the drop-down list of the unit selector field.
- Currency Code: Enter a code for the currency. A maximum of 10 characters is possible.
- Currency Symbol: Enter a symbol for the currency. The currency symbol will be available in the Currency fields available in the various page views. Users should be able to easily understand the relation of the currency unit to its currency by means of the given symbol (for example, T€ = 1000E).
