Which business capabilities are supported by applications used by a specific organization?

An application is used by an organization to support a business capability. The relationship between an application, organization, and business capability is referred to as a business support. Review which critical business capabilities are provided by applications that are used by a specific organization.

  1. Go to the business question What should we be focusing on? and click the  GlobalFilter global filter button.
  2. Specify an organization in the Using Organizations field.
  3. Click Update and click X to close the filter panel. Only business capabilities supported by applications used by the selected organization are displayed.
    • Business capabilities are colored based on the Business Relevance attribute. The most critical business capabilities are shades of purple. The less critical business capabilities are shades of green.
    • Each second-level business capability shows the number of as-is and to-be applications where the Using Organization is the specified organization.
    • The number is an aggregation of all applications that provide support to the second-level business capability as well as its subordinate business capabilities on lower levels of the business capability model.
  4. Double click the As-Is Applications or To-Be Applications element to view the applications owned by the business owner organization.
