Provide help to end users
You can provide help for a view in the user interface. The help can be accessed via the Help button in the masthead of the application or the three-dot menu for a view embedded in a content area.
The standard help available with Alfabet consists of a browser-based online help and a context-sensitive help which answers common questions in an FAQ-like style in a help panel embedded in the user interface. An AI Assistant is available on the Alfabet to search for answers in the online help. A conventional full-text search for the browser-based online help can also be implemented.
The Alfabet AI assistant is hosted on Amazon Web Services® independent from individual Alfabet installation. It can only access the Alfabet online help as information source. Request information is not processing data from customer database. The conversation of the user with the Alfabet AI assistant is only available during the user session.
For cloud customers, the help is automatically available. If you are installing Alfabet on premise, installation of the context-sensitive help and the help search index only makes sense if your installation is based on the pre-configured Alfabet solution (IT Transformation Server) and you are implementing a link to the standard Alfabet online help. The full text search index is delivered with the release and the context-sensitive help is automatically included in the meta-model update for the pre-configured solution.
