A new content-voting capability similar to familiar social-media interactions is available. A Rate button in the 3-dots menu of the application content area allows users to rate an application based on a 5-star rating from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent). The KPI/MetricAsset Metrics/5-Star Score can be added to the content area to show the average score for the asset based on all user ratings. Clicking the content item opens a report showing which users have rated the application with their scores.

The 5 Star Score rating is currently implemented in the Application content area but can be configured by a portfolio administrator for any of the following classes: Business Capability, Business Process, Organization, Location, Vendor, Application Group, Business Data, Business Object, Information Flow, IT Capability, Component, Physical Server, Virtual Server, Project, and ProjectGroup. To make the 5 Star Score rating available to any of these classes, a portfolio administrator must assign the Asset Metrics evaluation type to the class in the Class Configuration functionality. The indicator 5 Star Score requires a new computation rule with a Base Class definition and Indicator Computation Method = ValueByQuery. Other rating concepts may be configured by the portfolio administrator as needed.
