System Administrator Relevant Changes

Alfabet FastLane 11 IR is only available as cloud application and therefore the following, system administration relevant information is for informational purposes only:

• Alfabet FastLane 11 IR is configured for use on context-insensitive databases.
• The field UseNLog in the alfaSettings.json file must be set to false to log user login activities in the Windows® event log.
• The version number in the URL of the documentation has changed. To open the online help via the Help button in the Alfabet FastLane application, https://documentation.softwareag.com/alfabet/fastlane/afl11-3/webhelp/afl-webhelp must be entered in the Help Server attribute of the server alias of the Alfabet Web Application 
• The server alias configuration of Alfabet FastLane components has been amended with a caption definition for the server alias. While technical processes still identify the server alias configuration via the name, the caption is used in customer facing information, like for example in the About Alfabet information available via the help button in the Alfabet FastLane masthead.
• The embedding of third-party components has changed. New components were embedded and some components were excluded. Almost all embedded third-party components were upgraded. To view a list of currently embedded third-party components, use the About Alfabet option of the help button in the Alfabet FastLane masthead.
