The following APIs will no longer be provided in 11.13:
- The SOAP-based Alfabet Web Services are no longer provided.
- The AlfaBot has been deprecated and therefore the APIs to the NLP provider and for voice support are no longer available.
- Import of component and vendor information from Technopedia® has been substituted with a new interface with Eracent's IT-Pedia ®. Technopedia interoperability will be re-designed for on-premise customers to support the new Technopedia interface V2 in future releases.
- Interoperability with Skype for Business Server® is deprecated and therefore no longer provided.
- Interoperability with Microsoft Teams® has been substituted with a new collaboration capability.
- The integration interface with CentraSite® and WebMethods® API Portal and WebMethods API Gateway will be deprecated and removed in Alfabet release 11.14.
The following changes have been made to provided APIs:
- The RESTful services are no longer provided directly by the Alfabet Web Application, but exclusively by the Alfabet API server. The settings for activation of the Alfabet RESTful services in the server alias configuration of the Alfabet Web Application are still part of the server alias editor but will be ignored.
- HTTPS is used for connection to ARIS via the ARIS - Alfabet Interoperability Interface and ARIS must be configured accordingly.
