Navigate via keyboard through the user interface

You can navigate through the user interace using the keyboard. Keyboard navigation mode stops when you do a mouse click.

  • In the left side navigation panel, the navigation menu is a single item. You can switch between search field, navigation menu and button to expand and collapse the navigation panel using SHIFT + TAB. Within the navigation menu, you can navigate via arrow keys.

  • In views showing tables, TAB will move from the menu to the first data row in the table. You can navigate within the table using either TAB or SHIFT + TAB or the arrow keys. Search fields in the table header are available via arrow keys or SHIFT + TAB.
  • In content areas, TAB and SHIFT + TAB will lead you through the content items in the order given and also move from content item to content item menu and then to next content item. If you want to go to a content item at the bottom of the content area, you can use the arrow keys when the focus is on a content item. Using the arrow keys you can navigate quicker in a content page.
