- GUI Schemes are no longer supported. They remain in Alfabet Expand as a reference.
- The configuration of styles has partially been moved to the user interface to a new Themes (Themes ) business function for administrative users. Currently, styling of the user interface is limited to coloring and uploading of a logo. Styles available on the user interface are based on pre-configurations done in Alfabet Expand:
- In the Reusable Elements tab in Alfabet Expand, you can define style groups for styling of interface elements under the User Interface Groups node. A style group is a collection of styles for a defined interface element. You can create style groups for styling of a defined enumeration, indicator, text in cards defined for a data workbench, object classes, and for graphics. Beneath a style group, you can define different styles, for example one for each enumeration item or indicator value in the range definition of the indicator. The style groups are the basis for color definition. They can only be created in Alfabet Expand. Definition of styles is currently described for coloring of enumeration items.
- A pre-defined style group Global defines the logos and the coloring for buttons and backgrounds of the user interface.
- In the Reusable Elements tab in Alfabet Expand, you can define different color themes under the User Interface Themes node. A color theme is a customization of the default coloring defined in style groups. You can add style groups to the color theme and change the colors for the current theme. If you do not add a style group to a theme, the default coloring defined in the style group definition is used. You can define different color themes a user can select from. For example, a color theme can be optimized for 508 compliance.
- In the user interface, administrative users can change the standard coloring for the color themes which are predefined in Alfabet Expand if these kind of changes are not blocked in the theme definition. In addition, they can create new themes and change colors in existing style groups for the new theme.
- Users can select between the available color themes in the user settings.
